Welcome to HSI 2016
The HSI Conference is now in its fifth edition, having previously been held at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, in Rome and in Coventry in 2014. There has been considerable growth in applications for hyperspectral imaging in industry and research in recent years and this event, following on from the success of previous meetings, will therefore draw significant numbers of attendees from all fields of hyperspectral imaging – MORE>.
Dr Himar Fabelo, Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, will be talking about the “The HELICoiD project: A comprehensive framework for real-time detection of human brain tumours using hyperspectral images”. He has notably been part of a team who has used hyper-spectral images to benefit neurosurgeons in the fight against cancer.

HSI 2016 will bring together academic and industrial users to share their knowledge of innovation in hyperspectral imaging cameras, technology and applications.
This central England location is very convenient for attendees and in early 2016 ‘Coventry Arena’ rail station will open with direct connection to Coventry Mainline Station.
