Call for Abstracts

Original contributions are welcomed on all aspects of hyperspectral imaging – we particularly invite contributions in the following, though not exclusive areas:

  • Biology
  • Food Technology
  • Geographical Information Systems
  • Medicine
  • Microscopy
  • Surveillance
  • Pollution Monitoring
  • Industrial Inspection
  • Defence
  • Antiquity Analysis
  • Chemical Analysis
  • Remote Sensing

Prospective authors should advise us of the wish to be involved by Monday 4th July (oral papers) or 12th August (poster papers). Abstracts of between half and two pages are invited for review.

Accepted contributions will be invited to submit a final camera ready two page extended abstract.

Accepted contributions will be invited to submit a final camera ready two page extended abstract in a similar style to an example which can be downloaded here>.

Audio Visual

We will provide suitable AV equipment and will have a technician on hand should there be any issues. It is preferred also that you bring your presentation on your own laptop ready to use. Please note, if you plan to use an Apple Mac, remember to bring your own cable to connect to the AV.

Information on Poster Presentations

Posters accepted for this year’s event will be allocated a board in the main exhibition area, where they can be viewed by all delegates attending Photonex and HSI 2016. You will be notified in advance of your poster board number.

Posters must not exceed A0 portrait size (1189mm high x 841mm wide). Pins or suitable adhesive tape will be provided on the day.

Posters may be displayed from 10.00am on the 12th October (the poster session is 4pm to 5pm). All posters must be removed by 4pm on 13th October.

Poster authors should be in attendance by their poster between 4pm and 5pm on the Wednesday.
